Five emerging artists – Jamell Saman, Amber van den Heuvel, Kris van Gent, Khattar Shaheen and Levi Overvest – combine their talent, experiences and artistic visions in Yapa Yapa: a multifaceted exhibition that captures the spirit of today. The exhibition is on show from 18 October to 23 November at the ACEC Café.

Stories are at the heart of our culture. They give meaning to beliefs, moments and emotions. In this exhibition, personal images, archetypal icons and intimate moments are taken out of their original context and brought together again.

The result is a fusion of visions, materials and stories. A dynamic whole in which connections arise between works, themes and generations. Yapa Yapa invites you to look, feel and give meaning yourself.
